Forever His

I’m going to write a little bit about my (understood) valentine.

He’s a wonderful guy who loves the Lord. He serves at his college as an RC this year and — despite challenges and stress — is doing a marvelous job at it. I really look up to him and how well he leads. It’s like second nature to him, really.

He is really smart too! I always ask him tons of questions… I’m pretty naive and don’t pay attention. He loves just soaking knowledge up. So naturally, I turn to him with most of my questions. He’s a great source to look to!

He’s very sweet and caring. Don’t get me wrong. He messes up. Just like I do. This relationship isn’t nor will ever be perfect. BUT. He loves me despite everything. Despite our circumstances, despite my hormones, despite exhaustion. He’s there.

He is also my future husband and the future father of my future children. And I’m very excited to watch all of this play out. Seriously. I can’t wait to have our own life together — living for God’s Kingdom as one unit. I’m so ready for that. I can’t wait to serve the Lord by his side.

All in all, he’s a really great guy :) And I love him so much :) This is our third Valentine’s Day with each other, and despite not seeing him this time around, he’s still the greatest valentine anyone could ever ask for.
